The Hatamoto-Ten that resides in the Inazuma no Kami temple in the region of Asanahama.
She appears to be in her mid 20s, is around 5’8”, and bears the incredibly rare mark of having blue eyes among her people. Her black hair is wrapped in a short ponytail with straight edged bangs covering her pale-skinned forehead.
Inazuma is an avid collector of foreign swords, regardless of the country’s disposition towards accepting foreign goods, and regardless of her role as one of the “Divine Samurai.” There are rumors that she may be skilled enough in battle to even topple the Emperor’s personal guard, a Hatamoto-Ten named Tenku, but these rumors come from an old place when she was much younger.
Because of her selfish interests, Inazuma tends to be welcoming to foreigners in general, and seems to get away with much of what may seem borderline treasonous. This, in combination with her comely appearance, tends to make her the target of painters and poets, although she tries her best to stop them from making works about her in fear that the Emperor may find out about her activities.
Sheathes weapon and transfuses next attack with lightning, extending the attack’s range up to 30 meters. The attack will still be as quick as if the target was standing next to Inazuma. Next attack buff: +10 speed, applies Bite’s effects and Breaker’s effects (minimum 1 stack). Costs 3 energy, and forces Inazuma to temporarily become stationary for the duration of the attack.
A 3 foot long flat-tipped and curved blade only usable for chopping. A proper wielder can utilize it to cleave a horse into two. It is heavy enough to be considered a blunt weapon. Has a long handle and hand guard, and its relatively wide blade makes it easier to block with. In addition, a straight guard along a part of the back of the blade allows it to be used in close range in a pinch. Custom made by highly skilled foreigners outside of Hisei. Inazuma’s weapon of choice when she isn’t in the presence of the emperor and his imperial army.
A traditional two foot long two-handed sword used by samurai. As with all Hatamoto-Ten traditional weaponry, it is of Meitou, “Heavenly,” quality, and is surprisingly durable and doesn’t rust. Only a handful of these Meitou-grade weapons exist in the country.
A traditional one foot long one-handed sword used by samurai in close quarters combat. As with all Hatamoto-Ten traditional weaponry, it is of Meitou, “Heavenly,” quality, and is surprisingly durable and doesn’t rust. Only a handful of these Meitou-grade weapons exist in the country.
Sharkskin leather jacket/pants/boots:
The dark flat-collared jacket has wide sleeves, the right arm rolled almost all the way up, and a pale yellow sharkskin obi, a wide belt, at the waist to imitate a samurai’s robes. The dark pants cuff themselves off halfway down the shin, and the tall brown boots complete the waterproof ensemble. Inazuma typically wears this with a steel version of the traditional cone-shaped hat and parts of custom-fitted samurai plate armor underneath, trying to pass it off as armor. It is not nearly as effective as actual samurai plate armor, it does not look like armor, and everybody who knows her is aware of this.
