Character Skills

>Gargoyle Physiology - Camouflage

The user can visually blend into the immediate environment by changing the coloration of every part of their body. This ability, when used in combat, can last up to 5 posts or until Finn attacks someone or is attacked. The ability costs -1 ENR to use. Outside of combat, the same rules apply, but there is a much longer durability due to being able to focus on this one ability rather than multiples at the same time.

> Gargoyle Physiology - Natural Weaponry

The user has the power to utilize weapons after transforming that are a natural part of their body. For Finore, this includes claws on both his hands and feet, a tail that with stone spikes along the length, enlarged teeth and fangs, and a set of wings. Finore is able to transform into this form at will due to it being a racial ability and lasts the duration of combat, or until he transforms back. Additionally, but non-combat related, Finore sports large and pointed ears when in this form.

> Gargoyle Physiology - Stone Mimicry

The user can turn his entire body into solid rock, with matching resistance, for a duration of 7 posts, with a cooldown of 3 posts, and a cost of -2 ENR. If he only turns part of his body into stone, that part gains the same durability for a duration of 4 posts, with a cooldown of 2 posts, and a cost of -1 ENR. (The effects of this ability can be disabled at will, leading to the cooldown.)

> Gargoyle Physiology - Night Vision

The user has the ability to see clearly in darkness and in low light conditions. Despite having excellent vision during the night time, his vision suffers during the daytime and generally wears glasses to protect his eyes.

>Feral Mind

The user has the ability to tap into a feral state of mind. This ability gives Finore a boost of +4 SP when in this state, but lowers his defense by -2 DEF due to the lack of inhibition in this state. This state can be activated in or out of combat, allowing for him to use this in different forms, but is only able to be activated when Finore hears the tune of the locket he wears. This ability does have a timer, though, once activated, it lasts for a maximum of 10 posts, and has a cooldown of one full day.

Backstory
Originally from Tiberia, Finore Kilroy was brought into this world by Ailin and Sine Artair in Ridule. Finore wasn't an average birth, however, he was borne from stone, human blood, and magic - creating a hybrid that hadn't been seen previously. He was the first of his kind, a human-gargoyle hybrid imbued with magical properties. Finore wasn't taught much combat growing up, but instead was more focused on learning how to control any abilities related to his gargoyle nature. Because Finore wasn't focused on learning much combat, instead he was focused on learning trades outside of his ability training. It was very clear that he had become proficient in stonemasonry, roofing, architecture, and other various construction related jobs. He spent a lot of time woodworking and building for his hometown and adventuring out whenever he could find time away from work. Aside from this, Finore had a best friend growing up: Cristin Maolain. Cristin and Finore were born one month apart and did everything together as kids, and this continued into adulthood. While in Venes with Cristin, visiting her distant relatives, Finore was working on a project for his father at a family friend's workshop. While working, the news was being aired, and he watched as the building that Cristin was in was decimated by a man known as MIchael. He knew that Cristin was gone in that moment, and watched The Crimson Slayer murder the being that did this. Eventually, Finore ended up in Solace like a lot of former Tiberia residents. Now Finore spends most of his time in Zerule working on various construction projects while learning the art of combat when he has free time.
