Name:  Ansell Angelus

Appearance:  Ansell’s physique is almost uncanny to behold. Despite his height, he is so lean that it seems impossible that he should have such well-defined muscles of such obvious strength. And yet the slender form and soft features defy all attempts to place his gender. And yet there he is, standing there with a look on his face like he’s wondering how you taste. Given his milky pale skin and deep raven hair that flows down to his tailbone, the overall effect is usually quite striking, especially when he levels one ruby red eye and one sapphire blue eye at some insolent mortal and lets the flickering flames of his gaze remind them of their place.
Oh, and also, Ansell has wings. They span 10 feet from tip to tip, and despite being feathered and quite organic appear as if made of all manner of precious metals, finely blended into a soft sheen. Ansell may choose to either “unveil” them or to keep them hidden, in the latter case they disappear into some divine hammerspace where any injuries (which definitely do hurt, btw) to them are healed, as even in their physical form they straddle the line between physical and metaphysical.

Apparel:  Ansell dresses primarily like he’s on his way to a temple of Loviatar, lots (or rather, occasional, given the generous expanses of skin) of leather that looks like he had to be poured into it, though instead of fishnets Ansell wears a bodysuit of chainmail that somehow manages to be as skintight as the rest of his BDSM Batman getup. The outfit changes often, though is always a variation on the same theme, and is either black or white in overall design.

Character Skills

Flight - 

Ansell can fly naturally, with or without his wings, at will. He can do this for incredible distances and at inconceivable speeds, requiring only a bare minimum of effort to use and maintain.

Avatar of Heat and Light -  

Any and all kinds of heat and fire as well as angelic, light, good, or similarly aligned elements, has no effect on Ansell, and in fact can be absorbed to heal wounds and empower fire
manipulation/creation for a short time (this is mostly used for PVE, PvP application follows). Any of the above stated magic Ansell comes into contact with can, at the cost of making any attack or spellcast that post, be absorbed into his being instead. Physical damage is healed to a degree based on ENR cost of absorbed magic, until it’s used up or all damage is healed, whichever comes first. If there is no damage to heal, add +1 to any stat OR the offensive power of fire magic. Duration of boost is equal to ENR cost of absorbed magic, and after absorption, boost/healing becomes passive until it ends. However, for obvious reasons, Ansell cannot do this using his own fire. Also, fire manipulation of his own manifestation is free.

Borne of Fire - 

Ansell can use his innate fire magic to cover himself and/or to form any manner of weapon, shield, or projectile his imagination can concoct, at the cost of 1ENR per unique creation, though he can change whatever fire he makes into some other use or form by simple manipulation.

Running Hot - 

Ansell is immune to poisons and venoms, but not acid and not magical poisons and venoms. Those, he might or might not be able to purge using some combination of his angelic and/or fiery power.

Angel - 

Ansell naturally emanates a Light/Holy aura so all physical attacks have this quality by default. Also, Ansell can infuse this into any/all of his fire, adding 1ENR to the cost of a given creation.

Eternal Vessel - 

Ansell’s body heals all damage passively and with unnatural rapidity, though this ability is entirely useless in combat and so only becomes apparent after battle ends, when there’s time to actually rest and recuperate. In short, so long as he did not lose any limbs or suffer any extraordinarily grievous wounds, Ansell could almost always recover to full health by either the end of the day or the next morning. Limb recovery requires at least a whole day or two, but can be sped to nearly instantaneous if one manages to reattach it soon enough, though some degrees of injury naturally will require more intensive care. (following is PVP-only) If decapitated, Ansell is dead until it is reattached and fire is applied to the body. Ansell can be rendered unconscious by conventional means (though requiring a higher degree than a mortal) thus making decapitation, and probably also dismemberment just for good measure, a logical next step before he wakes up.

Antithesis of Entropy - 

Ansell takes *at least* twice as much damage, intensity, duration, etc. from all magics using ice, dark, cold, demonic, etc. and they take longer/require more energy to heal. Also, being in environments of extreme evil can warp Ansell’s mind to more and more violent tendencies until he gets out of the area.

Wing Blades - 

Ansell’s wings can, at will, become blades of inconceivable sharpness and durability, which due to his nature are also impossibly hot and loaded with angelic energy. He can also release feathers from them in volleys of up to a couple dozen, although they vanish moments after contact. Ansell can infuse his Fire into the wings for 1ENR, and so long as he does not divert it from his wings, all projected feathers contain Fire magic as well at no extra cost. They have Light/Holy by default.

Backstory
Ansell claims he's existed forever, and shall continue to do so for as long as there's need of forces of destruction aimed specifically against those evils which cannot be remedied any other way besides violence. What really happened was, one of the first sentient lifeforms worshipped the sun and so decided to magically/ritualistically slice off a piece of the sun and imbue it with a real life of its own so they could have their very own god live amongst them....this did not go as planned. Ansell's sapience came at the cost of literally every single member of this particular pre-human race, as this was quite literally creating life.
How and why Ansell decided what his purpose was will forever remain a mystery, and yet he holds fast to what he calls "the mission" which, surprisingly, allows for all manner of cooperation and collaberation with any manner of monster, humanoid, demon, or angel...the criteria for termination is most often based on a nebulous combination of factors including but not limited to how much harm to the world at large and/or the natural order of the universe, and is always judged o a case by case basis as Ansell comes across it.
And so, for untold centuries, Ansell has lived and died, loved and hated, fought, won, lost, and had more adventures than any storybook could ever recount. Even death is not apparently enough to extinguish this angelic flame more than temporarily.
